Today is a momentous day for the house. It took us over 13 years and the combined efforts of many Gryffs and visitors but today, my friends, we finally counted to 10000.

Head to the Current Activities section to check out Summer Wand-erings! We're spending a magical summer at Ollivanders, learning just what goes into creating the very finest wands. You've got until 21 August to get involved, so plenty of time!

Do you want to help make Gryffindor even better? If you're a Gryffindor student and you've been a member of HOL for over 5 months, you should consider joining the staff as a Junior Prefect. Head over to the Guidelines forum for more information!

Amazing work, Gryffies. Whether you're planning to stick around for July and August (there's plenty of fun scheduled!) or if we'll see you back on 1st September, I hope everyone has an incredible summer.

You have just over 48 hours to turn in things for Owl Winter Long! We'll need everything signed, sealed and delivered by 11:59 PM HOL-time on December 20th.

Remember there's still a few more hours to earn points with Creature Card Corral over on the main forum. While you're there, make sure to check out The Land of the Sweets which begins on Monday! Any extra points you can earn will help the house. Let's go, Gryffindor, let's go!

If you've already started the Gryfftoberfest Quest then you have an extra day and a half to complete it. Due to the trouble we've been having with the various websites, I wanted to extend the deadline slightly to give those of you who are already part way through a fighting chance to get to the end. Make sure you get your tasks in before the 3rd of November at 11:59 PM HOL-time if you want them to count for rubies!
