I really like the idea of Platform 9 3/4 its a way to split the muggle world from the wizarding world. It a way from young witches and wizards that their community is special and has special protections. If they keep the barrier only in one wall, then it’s well protected as the odds of a muggle stumbling across it are very low. I think the reason J K Rowling used a train I think she would of used the train quite a bit to get to London when she was writing the books and when travelling by train you get a special feeling see the country from a different perspective.

My Baguette is Rowan wood, Phoenix core, 13 inches, quite bendy

There's a few that has caught my eye like flying lessons and quidditch. But i might go with some traditional subjects first. Charms will the first one.

For me being a First year i would need to get my school supplies. But first I would need to go to Gringotts first. Then it’s off to Flourish and Blotts for all my schoolbooks for the year. Going off to Potages cauldron shop to get my cauldron. Then to get my robes at Madam Malkins. Once I’ve got all my supplies. Off for the best part of the day is to get my First wand at Olivanders, as I’m walking back to the leaky cauldron I checked out the latest brooms and quality quidditch supplies. Finally after a busy day shopping its time to grab a nice Roast Hog at the leaky cauldron.

For me that one chore would be cleaning the dishes especially if we have had a big meal!
