The Board of Governors at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry recognizes the need to modernize our policies regarding students suffering from Lycanthropy. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of any physical condition, can thrive. Hereby, we propose the following policies and measures to ensure the well-being and academic success of our students who fall into this category. 1. Safe Transformation Quarters: Dedicated private quarters will be provided for werewolf students, a day in advance of their full moon transformations. These quarters will be soundproofed, equipped with appropriate restraining mechanisms (if necessary, even after administering the Wolfsbane Potion), reinforced walls, a reinforced door and no windows. In order to make the room less suffocating, adequate ventilation will be provided with the help of tiny vents all across the room, only enough to allow air to pass in and out of the quarters. Should the student so desire, an enchanted ceiling of their choice would be created for them within the room. The room will be accessible only by authorized personnel. 2. Potion and Medical Support: The school will provide a stock of Wolfsbane Potion for enrolled students suffering from Lycanthropy. We will also explore the feasibility of setting up an on-site brewing operation for the Wolfsbane Potion in large quantities. Additionally, trained mediwizards and healers will be available to address any physical or emotional distress related to transformations. 3. Flexible Class Schedules and Academic Requirements: Recognizing the potential for fatigue and discomfort after transformations, werewolf students will be offered flexible schedules. This may include adjusted class times, the option to attend certain lessons during a special session conducted only for the werewolf students, or alternative assignments during transformation periods. 4. Educational Program: A mandatory educational program will be implemented for the entire student body. This program will address werewolf biology, and the effects of lycanthropy, and dispel common myths and prejudices. 5. Destigmatization and Specialized Support Group: In collaboration with qualified professionals, we will establish a support group specifically for werewolf students. This group will provide a safe space to share experiences, address anxieties, and foster a sense of equality.

First, I would look for an abandoned house far away from the city or village I live in. After that, I will go inside and try to locate a room that has strong walls and would not be easy to break out of. Then the next day I will inform someone I trust and then with their help, I will carry some chains, cuffs, bolts, locks and metal plates, to that house. There, we would fixate the chains to the walls and reinforce the points where the chains would be attached to the walls. Once that is done, we would replace the old locks of the house, especially the ones on the room’s door, with the new ones we would bring. Then we would need to take care of the windows, so we would cover the windows with the metal plates. After fixing them in place with the bolts, we will do some welding so that the plates cannot be taken off easily. Once all this would have been done and the place would be secured enough, we will use some spells and potions to clear out any dangerous insects or other creatures that might be living in the old abandoned house, so that when I would be in there at my weakest state, I would not have to worry about additional problems. On the day of the full moon, I would eat a hearty meal and drink enough water to last the night. Then me and my friend would go there at around 3 PM, and my friend would lock me up with the chains, and lock the doors from the outside. Then my friend would cast some protective spells outside the house to keep any intruders or curious people away from the house for the night. After having spent the night locked up in there as a werewolf, I would be thirsty, hungry and naked. So my friend would bring me food, water and new clothes the next day, early in the morning. Once I would have been clothed and fed, we would leave for home so that I could rest.

Purpose: On a rainy or cloudy day, this charm clears a portion of the sky above the caster’s head for a short period of time, and as the person walks ahead, the portion of the sky left behind them goes back to being as it was, and the portion currently above the witch/wizard’s head clears up. This spell requires a huge amount of concentration and willpower to hold, and most witches/wizards won’t be able to hold the spell for any longer than 20 minutes at a time without taking a break.

Now, let's have a look at what we can expect across the British Isles for tomorrow. We're in for a curious mix of conditions, folks. Areas in the north of Scotland should expect some lingering blizzards, with possible downpours later in the evening. Keep an umbrella and some Frostbite Wax handy if you're up that way. For our central regions, it appears a heavy rain and potentially a storm are brewing. These warm rain showers are said to possess restorative properties, so don't shy away from stepping outside and letting the healing showers make you feel better. So for those living up north or in the central regions, I suggest you plan your Quidditch matches, Broom racing competitions and open-roof parties accordingly. Meanwhile, down south in places like Cornwall and Devon, we're expecting a gloriously sunny day with a small possibility of drizzle. Our Great Lake is home to not just our Giant Squid but also to a great number of other creatures such as Grindylows, Selkies and Kelpies. So in my opinion, our Giant Squid’s species must’ve been there long before Hogwarts was founded by Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. However, over time, its family died out due to the lack of enough resources, and our Giant Squid who was only a baby at that time, would have died as well, if not for the intervention of Helga Hufflepuff. She wanted to save the species, but it was too late, and she could only save one of them. Since she couldn’t save the others, in order to prevent the extinction of such a magnificent species, she decided to imbue the baby Squid with some potent magic, which would help it thrive and live for centuries.

If I could pick the weather I could see out of my window, I would conjure a very specific weather type, something that’s very rare in the city. It will be a windy afternoon, at around 1 – 2 pm, there will be dense white clouds in the sky, the sun will be up, but it won’t be too hot. Instead, it will be just perfectly warm and cozy, with the wind in my hair, and I will be able to hear the susurration of the sea right there in front of me, and smell the salt in the water. The temperature will be at a comfortable 21 – 23 °C, and there will be birds flying in the sky. This is the weather that will help me feel the most comfortable, be more productive without feeling too exhausted, and overall, be calmer, happier and more relaxed throughout the day.

The Impediment Jinx (Impedimenta), also known as the Impediment Hex, is commonly used in duels to hinder the movement of the target by slowing them down or stopping them. Therefore, it can be repurposed for crowd control in non-magical situations, such as large gatherings or protests where tensions are high, casting Impedimenta strategically, will slow down or hinder individuals who are instigating violence or attempting to breach security perimeters. This will in turn buy time for authorities to de-escalate the situation and prevent further chaos without resorting to more aggressive measures. The Banishing Charm (Depulso) is a charm often used during duels to send the target away, towards a specific location, and works on both living beings and inanimate objects. It can be repurposed for disaster relief efforts. For example, in the aftermath of natural disasters, such as earthquakes or landslides, debris and rubble often obstruct rescue efforts and block access to critical areas. Casting Depulso strategically can open up the path ahead by pushing aside debris and clearing away obstacles quickly, thus allowing rescue teams to go in and provide medical assistance and relief supplies to the affected communities, ultimately speeding up recovery efforts and saving lives.
