The Standard Book of Spells - Task 2

This collection of books together hold a myriad of spells, from charms, to jinxes and everything in between. Take an incantation for a spell and write an acrostic poem about what the spell does when one casts it. 

 

An acrostic poem is a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase.

 

Example of an acrostic poem for word SPELLS.

 

Secrets within pages, a magical art,

Potent incantations, a wizard's heart.

Enchanting whispers in a language arcane,

Lumos and Patronus, a mystical refrain.

Legendary verses in each spell's embrace,

Sorcery unfolds in the wizarding space.

 

The poems should be at least 6 lines long for full credit.

Overflowing colors in a magical display,
Radiant blossoms at the wave's ballet.
Casting whispers summon nature's delight,
Harmonious blooms, a mesmerizing sight.
Imbued petals, a wand's enchanting plea,
Dancing bouquets, pure floral glee.
Ephemeral blooms, a spell's sweet decree,
Over wand's end, a floral symphony,
Under the charm of Orchideous, beauty is set free.

Towards fun, we will cast a charm

A moving and dancing alarm.

Rhythm picks up,

All our limbs can tell.

Nothing can stop as it's,

The great fun top, kick and hop.

As we dance without cause,

Life is in our feet.

Laughing out loud,

I have composed an acrostic poem for the incantation of the Stunning Spell => STUPEFY

 

Stars align, by the wand's command,
Tracing spells, are a wizard's demand.
Unveiling secrets, both near and far,
Piercing through shadows, like a shooting star.
Ethereal whispers are a magical key
Flowing magic, casting spells to be free,
Yearning for wonders, in the wand's skilled decree.

Helpfully unlocking the rest of your route

One of the simplest charms we know and love

Magically able to get doors unstuck

Opening up to let you get by

Awakening whispers in the hidden abyss,
Revealing the unseen with a magical kiss.
Enchanting words, a mystical decree,
Conjuring clarity, setting mysteries free.
Illuminate the darkness, let secrets sway,
Unlocking realms where answers lay.
Marvel at the power, as veils lift away.
