  1. When I became a member of the Gryffindor Quidditch team myself, after almost 2 years of training from my father Harry Potter, I put my heart and soul into customizing my broom to shout out my Gryffindor pride, because getting on the team was one of my biggest goals. So today I will be talking about how I decorated my broom. I have wrapped the handle in a deep, lush crimson leather, and right there, front and centre, there's a golden lion pommel representing Gryffindor. The shaft of my broom is covered with these fiery red and gold feathers, and I hand-painted each one to resemble flames of fire. The bristles are also enchanted to look like fire erupting from the end of the shaft, but rest-assured, there is no real fire involved, and if you touch these "flames", all you will feel is the texture of the bristles. The bristles are also dyed a deep crimson, matching our house colours and providing a darker base to enhance the look of the enchantment. On the handle, there's a subtle inscription in golden script that reads, "Forti Animo Estote" the Gryffindor motto which translates to "Be of good courage." It's there to remind me of the values of my house every time I take to the skies. This is not just a broom, but a representation of my thoughts and beliefs about my team and Quidditch as a whole.
  2. Chorus: Gryffindor, oh Gryffindor, you're fierce and true, In the Quidditch skies, we'll cheer for you. With a lion's heart, you'll always shine bright, Together we'll conquer, in crimson and gold light! Verse: Through wind and rain, we'll all stand tall, Gryffindor, oh Gryffindor, you shall never fall. With your heads held high, and your broomsticks untamed, In Quidditch's name, you'll be acclaimed! <Repeat Chorus>
  3. Hi, I'd like to purchase the following books: 27. The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman 76. The Standard Book of Spells by Miranda Goshawk 79. Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger
  4. https://i.imgur.com/JPeE1oH.jpg This is a confused version of the cover for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Instead of having Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, it has 3 warrior-like characters dressed in medieval armour and outfits.
  5. This is a recipe for Spaghetti Carbonara that in my opinion nicely fits into the world of The Godfather by Mario Puzo. 1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook 450g of spaghetti until al dente. Save 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti, pour a little bit of olive oil on it and mix well so that the spaghetti doesn't stick together. 2. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat, then add 200g of diced bacon and sauté until it becomes crispy (approx. 4-6 mins). 3. Add 3 cloves of garlic (minced) to the pan for a few seconds, then remove it before it turns brown. 4. In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs and 1 cup of grated Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese. Season the mixture with a generous amount of black pepper. 5. Add the previously cooked spaghetti to the pan and combine with the crispy pancetta. 6. Remove the pan from the heat, and quickly pour the egg and cheese mixture over the hot pasta. Combine everything well while tossing vigorously. This will cause the heat from the pasta to cook the eggs, creating a creamy and smooth sauce. If the sauce seems too thick, add a little bit of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. 7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and grated Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese and serve.
  6. I'd like to buy: 7. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins 8. The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
  7. When I am reading a book or working, I prefer instrumental music in the background because then the music can augment the piece of work I am focusing on, otherwise I need to somehow ignore the words of the song in order to focus on the work I am doing especially if it is something like reading a storybook or studying. I mainly prefer the piano, however I also like to listen to cello, violin, flute or the harp sometimes. But if I gave that list here it would never end, so here is a list of 5 of my favourite piano pieces in no particular order: 1. "Für Elise" by Beethoven: This is the first piano piece that I learnt to play beyond the scope of my piano syllabus in school, and it has stuck with me ever since. 2. "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven: This is a piece that gets more and more mysterious and beautiful as it progresses further. It just makes me feel very warm and motivated. 3. "Nocturne in C Sharp Minor (No. 20)" by Chopin: This is one of those pieces that fits perfectly at the end of a film, and it just makes you feel a bit sad but also relieved at the same time, maybe even a bit happy by the time the piece is half-way and then again makes you feel sad and relieved as the notes go back to being similar to the start. 4. "River Flows In You" by Yiruma: This is a piece that is very relaxing to hear, and if you close your eyes you will feel happy and sitting on a bench in a park with Sakura in the warm Spring. It's beautiful. 5. "Comptine d'un Autre Été" by Yann Tiersen: It's a short, modern, slightly repetitive but beautiful piece. I really love the rhythm it gets going and is great for the days when you are feeling low and don't want your music to make you feel sadder, because slow piano music often tends to be a bit melancholic which is something I love when I am not sad, but on the days when I feel low, I need something that uplifts me and this is one of the pieces that do. I hope whoever is reading this enjoys my playlist and if you have not been into piano before, maybe this is something to get you started. Happy studying :)
  8. I am cosplaying as Harry Potter, the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement from the book and play of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." The look is inspired by Jamie Parker's Harry from the play and a bit from Daniel Radcliffe's Harry from the film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2". I am wearing a navy three-piece suit, a powder blue shirt, a dark tie and a grey overcoat. My hair is short and messy, and I am wearing a pair of green contact lenses to resemble Harry's eyes. I also drew a scar with some dark maroon face-paint using a size 1 brush to make the scar look as authentic as possible and complete the look. Now coming to the accessories, I have on a pair of golden circular-framed glasses, an antique-looking golden pocket watch, Harry's wand that I purchased from the Harry Potter Shop and a self-made replica of the Daily Prophet, with a headline about Harry's latest case to make me look like Harry on a regular working day. And even though it may not be practical, for the cosplay I kept a Marauder's map in my blazer's pocket that could be partially seen when I slightly parted my overcoat to the side.

  13. My Tea Making Ritual [Click Here For The Complete Gallery] Brewing Instructions [For 2 Teacups]: Take 1 teacup of water and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, add 1½ teaspoon of the Roasted Darjeeling Tea Leaves and let it boil for 1 minute. Then add ½ teaspoon of the Masala Tea Leaves and let it boil for 30 – 40 seconds. Add 1½ teacup of milk along with the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves (to taste, but don't put too much, or it will overpower the tea) and let it boil for 1 – 1½ minutes or until the colour becomes a beautiful light brown and the aroma should also indicate that the tea is almost done. Get the tea off the heat and strain it into the teapot. Add the sugar according to your taste and my favourite Masala Tea [Masala Chai] is ready. Enjoy! You can make this recipe without the Masala Tea leaves as well, just use a bit more of the Roasted Darjeeling Tea leaves. Also, you can always boil the tea for longer and add more or less of the tea leaves to adjust the strength of the tea. I personally prefer a 70:30 ratio for the Roasted Darjeeling Tea leaves to the Masala Tea leaves since we are adding our own spices, so that the Masala Tea doesn't dominate them. You can of course adjust this ratio to your liking as well!
  14. Monday: I predict that I will be able to invent a spell that can repair a lot of broken magical items such as broomsticks and wands and also restore their magical properties, which is currently not possible without the Elder Wand. This spell will be able to restore a broken wand or other magical object, and also impart certain protective properties to it so that it becomes somewhat harder to break the item a second time. Tuesday: I predict that I will be able to invent a potion that will allow squibs to cast some spells for a limited amount of time until the effects of the potion wear off. The degree of effect of this potion will vary from squib to squib. Some squibs might be able to cast a wider range of spells as compared to others. This will be a very useful invention, as it will allow squibs to study witchcraft and wizardry as well. Now whether any wand will choose them due to this potion, cannot be said for sure, in which case they could use a real wand (if possible) or some other object like a stick made of wand-wood to help channel their magic. Wednesday: I predict that I will invent a device that allows us to eat boiled vegetables but make them taste like anything we like, ranging from pizzas to roasted turkeys to chocolate cakes. Thursday: I predict that I will be able to invent a pair of glasses that will allow any witch or wizard to see Thestrals, even if they have not seen death. Friday: I predict that I will be able to invent a spell or potion that provides a certain degree of protection from the Imperius Curse, the Cruciatus Curse and the Killing Curse such that if any one of these spells are cast on a witch or wizard, the spell or potion will help them defend against the curse and in turn not get completely affected by it, which in case of the Killing Curse means, the witch or wizard won't die. If I invent it as a potion, then the person must have consumed it beforehand (thus this will be more of a precautionary use case) whereas if I invent it as a spell, the person could use it like any other defensive spell, and with proper timing, they will be able to defend themselves in a duel. Saturday: I predict that I will be able to invent a Magical Robe that will allow even intermediate witches and wizards to perform wandless magic, which is something only very advanced witches and wizards like Albus Dumbledore could do. Sunday: I predict that I will be able to establish an organization called The International Confederation of Wizarding Nations (ICWN), which will be a global organisation to which all the Ministries of Magic in the world will legally answer to, and I will be the Head of this organisation.
