As candy and sweets are the theme in this month's paw print, it gave me a sweet idea. Wouldn't it be cool to have a part of the castle to ourselves as a sort of candy creation corner? Here we could create new sweets and candies that have never been made before or we could use a Muggle sweet and zap a bit of magic into it. What sort of confectionery would you make? You can make what ever candy you like from something delicious to totally quirky. The world is your sweet oyster. Mine is a boiled sweet called a Rainbow Swirl. As it melts, it alternates its flavours one at a time, going through a pattern of sweet pink apple and sharp orange; tangy lemon and sweet strawberry; red grape and blueberry bubblegum. You can tell if someone has eaten one of these because they are surrounded by a bright, sparkly glow of rainbow colours which lasts about five minutes. If you are trying to keep a low profile at anytime, you may want to avoid this sweet.

This is going to sound really boring to some of you but I would be very happy in the library with a pet Pygmy Puff. There is something special about the smell of old books, it is very comforting. It's also great to hold thick books, as keeping the book open makes my thumbs ache which is a part of my reading experience. Plus, the thought of looking over illuminated manuscripts that are centuries old is mind blowing. Other than that, it would be fabulous to have mail delivered by owl and to be close-ish to a Horntail dragon.
