  1. Hearing roars of thunder, Makes many pirates cower. They see the lightning strike, It makes them shiver, Just from that light's sliver. Feel the gust of wind, Blowing away trouble, Many seamen find they must Start thinking on the double. Taste the terror, Coursing through their bodies, Not knowing whether or not, They will see tomorrow's day.
  2. The wizarding pirates are nearly indistinguishable from Muggle ones as they have many same characteristics. In fact, they are too similar to those we see in Muggle stories. They have a peg leg and a hook (most of the time fake ones) and a triangle hat with skull and bones on it. They are dressed in typical pirate attire and even have a pet, usually a parrot, accompanying them on the ship. They have two weapons to maximize the output of the booty. First, they have a magic wand for all attacks on wizarding ships. Then, in an effort not to expose themselves to the Muggle world, they also carry a sword, which is subtly improved with magic. If you look at them closely enough, you can see sort of a shimmer around them, which is an illusion magic and they give off a strong feeling of awe, fear and majesty when Muggles encounter them.
  3. With a nifty use of a Bubblehead charm, I quickly made my way under water. My first experience underneath was of plenty of different schools of fish. You had ones that were almost invisible in water for their camouflage, sleek swordfish and marlins slinking from one place to another and even some magical rainbow fish that changed color of their scales. By some coral reef, I spied octopuses, squids and all manner of ocean floor critters, scurrying on the sands, either looking for food or hiding from predators. I stayed away from the caves since the dark felt too oppressing to me and I heard of numerous stories where people got stuck in them and drowned, either when their air tank got pierced, lost or the Bubblehead charm failed. I did see a strange glowing rock on the ocean floor, with nothing growing in a 10 foot radius around it, even fish seemed to avoid it. It had at least ten different scripts, from Nordic runes to hieroglyphs. Something told me to stay away, but I am curious as to what it represented.
  4. I tasted sweets as the ship moved through the thick, and rather pinkish, mist. I touched my face, expecting it to be sticky, but it was just slightly wet from condensation. At first, the island itself was unremarkable, nothing different than other magical islands we visited on our journey. But upon closer examination, it held all species of magical creatures in its borders, even some thought lost, by either our hand, or by Muggles’. Everything was rather perfect, thought the face overseeing it all unnerved the crew, and I have to admit, me as well. Nothing happened, though whether because we left the creatures alone or something else, I know not. It is a peaceful island, where all manner of magical creatures live together in peace in a circle of life. I shudder to think what would happen if others discover the nature of it. Better to keep its location a secret so it will not fall to the folly of man.
  5. I would like to tell you all about Tahoratakarar, an ocean myth from Polynesian mythology. For those more familiar with Greek mythology, the myth is similar to the one about Charon. A pregnant woman called Takua was taken hostage by two evil spirits and taken to a faraway and barren land. They wanted her child and took it while still in the womb. After the abduction, the spirits disappeared in a cloud form and the sea level rose. Despite the foulness of the deed, the sea itself raised the boy and named it Tahoratakarar. With the help of other sea spirits, the ocean built the boy a massive black boat from the foam and darkness, that was tied to the underworld where an anchor should be. It sailed only by night and if someone died at sea, Tahoratakarar collected their soul. Thus, the boat was named the Boat of Souls or the Boat of the Dead.
  6. Island was hidden by a layer of pink mist. When you sailed through it, it seemed as if it should not obscure the island as it did. There is a hint of cotton candy taste when the mist passed your face. The island itself looks quite small, but as you step on its black sand beach, an illusions passes your face and it expands to at least twice its size. Tall palm trees with assortment of fruit give enough shade and food to carefree languish on the sand throughout all the trip. Deeper inside, there is a veritable menagerie of magical creatures, not a hint of ordinary animals. A tall face-like structure looms on the mountain and you get a feeling as if it is following you with its eyes no matter on which part of an island you are. There are rivers of purple water falling in cascades down the cliffs and into the sea below.
  7. Rectangle flag is separated into two distinctive parts. The bottom is 1/3 of the flag and has a grey background with text 'Beware of divers!' in a very light grey. Upper 2/3 are further separated into a tri-color sections, with pale pink on the left, purple in the middle and light blue on the right. The middle purple part has a flamingo on it.
  8. A little late, but a sincere Harry Happy Birthday from me as well :)
  9. Oh two fish, two fish, where art thou two fish?
  10. Red fish, blue fish, please gimme two fish.
  11. Because they all know, Ye can find more than treasure here.
  12. "Lucky ye my crown is 'ere, it tells me when there's booty near."
