Charm Your Own Cheese - Task 2

When cheese goes bad… No, we’re not talking about it going green and furry in the fridge, we’re talking about curses.

Part of the book is dedicated to cursed cheeses and includes a few notable examples. What we’d like you to do is create a front page for the Daily Prophet about a cursed cheese that made the news.

You can either create a graphic (in which case please keep it to 600 x 600 pixels) or you can describe your front page in 80 words (including what the headline would be, what accompanying photos you’d choose and a quick summary of the story).

On the front page of the Daily Prophet, the headline is in a large and bold font, titled "Cursed Cheese: No Ordinary Muenster." There would be a picture of the cursed muenster cheese, with a large amount of rats near it. The story would detail how this cheese had been cursed to smell so appetizing to rats that whenever someone would touch it, the smell would be transferred onto them and cause the rats to think they're just a giant moving cheese slice. There were no victims this time, as an informed wizard had called it in. However, if someone were to touch it, the rats would believe them to be a large slice of cheese and follow them, attacking the supposed cheese slice wizard when they were vulnerable.

Photographs - 1. Several people queuing up and fighting against each other to get to the front at Madam Bonita's pizzerio.

2. Madam Bonita juggling several boxes of pizza at once, apparently overwhelmed by the rush. She is sweaty, but a twinkle in her eye betrays a mischievous plan.

Story clip summary - Someone seems to have cursed all the cheese in Madam Bonita's pizza shop, Mm Bonita Pizzerio.

Customers are queuing up over each other's heads to buy more pizza after eating pizza made from the cursed cheese. Several witches and wizards ate at least 15 pizzas a day and are queuing up for more. Many witches and wizards were rushed to St. Mungo's with a runny stomach, vomitting, and gastric problems. They are refusing treatment and demanding pizza in the hospital wards. One wizard is known to have fled from St. Mungo's after saying nothing but "pizza pizza" for 5 minutes. This wizard was later seeing queuing at Madam Bonita's pizzerio.

Madam Bonita refused any information about who cursed her cheese. She claims her cheese is not cursed. Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge went to her pizzerio at 2 pm the next day and personally banned all the existing cheese from her shop. Cornelius Fudge tasted a sample of pizza without cheese and found that no such effect overcame him. Madam Bonita is in for a Ministry trial with the Wizengamot and has been asked to name all her cheese suppliers. Mm Bonita Pizzerio has been closed until further investigation, much to the chagrin of several disappointed pizza-hungry customers. On questioning, Madam Bonita still refuses any foul play.
