When I think of carnival foods, I immediately go to the sweets—mainly cotton candy and kettle corn. When summer starts, that is what I start craving and waiting for my local fair or carnival to happen so that I can have these delicacies! I only allow myself to have each once a year, even if I go multiple times, while I love them I like to keep them as a special treat while having summer fun. If I have to go for a savory dish, it would have to be corndogs; while I have those a few times a year (frozen), there's nothing like fresh dipped and fried corndogs.
