  1. Okay, so that's the end of the ABC game with animals, so let us start colors.

I know you're probably thinking, "you're mad, Zenix! There are only 7 colors!"

There are only seven colors in the rainbow, yes, but there are literal huuuundreds that actually have been created and named. I also checked and saw that even letters like X and Q have color names.

    LET'S GO!

  2. After two tie breakers where one poll ended in yet ANOTHER tie breaker...We finally have the finalists!

Below are the newly named sections of the Gryffindor Paw Print Newspaper! Thank you all for your contributions and participation! I actually just counted how many total submissions we had and it was 140 submissions from different houses! Wow, that is incredible!

You're all amazing and you rock my socks.

Scratching Post – Submitted Marie Dark of Gryffindor. Way to go, Marie!

Also, it is a completely random coincidence that all the finalists are from Gryffindor. We had submissions from Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and even a representing Squib that made it into the voting rounds.

    Thanks again!

  3. Another tie! You guys have not made our job easy, but we love the participation, so thank you so very much for that.

Well, we obviously can't have another poll because we'll end up with the same results. So, we had to ask the Sorting Hat which one he (She?) thought should win. Without further ado...

    The Regular Roar!

The Regular Roar will be the title name for our News section!

There will be a post announcing all of the chosen names and who submitted them coming up in the next half hour.

Again, thank you for all of your participation in this contest.

  4. As promised, this is the tie-breaker poll post for the two contest polls that were, obviously, tied.

We're setting a 24 hour limit for the students and staff of Gryffindor to vote again on these two polls. So, the polls will close and be finalized tomorrow, September 18th at 10PM HOL time.

If you're wondering about beans, don't worry, we're just waiting for everything to be finished before the rewards go out!

    Happy voting!

  5. Here we go! Lets rock and roll!

  6. GUILTY. This past Tuesday...I thought it was Thursday. I had to Google "what day is it?" on google and still didn't believe them. I dunno what happened.

Has stayed up for over 24 hours just to binge watch a TV series.

  7. Tarma's response to this question is absolutely PURE genius

I view Gryffindor as Fire. Why, well, the colors alone are fire. But we are a preserving house. We fight through whatever is thrown at us and we don't care. Fire devours everything. It takes everything in its path. Gryffindors are stubborn and passionate. We never give up. We are brilliant and represent chaos and rebirth, just like fire.

Earth for Hufflepuffs. They are wholesome and elemental. Wholesome automatically redirects to the earth. The Huffs always seem very grounded. If you study any kind of magical elemental energy, the world around us presents a strong energy and I feel that the Huffs pull from this.

Air...It is difficult, but I feel Ravenclaw represents this element fully. They are fully free and to be fully free you must be able to accept all that is around you which is knowledge. They feel knowledge and thought filtered through themselves. Air in itself it light. Think about it. It's freedom. They exist in the ephemeral, but they also exist in the forever. Plus, we have the Eagle that demonstrates air.

Slytherin is left with water. We have many water snakes, but their proximity to the dungeons helps. But the thing is these water snakes may seem harmless but they are not. They are some of the most poisonous creatures to be discovered.

  8. I have no idea what made me think of this, but after this thought came to my mind, I am now obsessed with hearing other people's opinions.

There are obviously four different houses at Hogwarts: Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.

However, if you take a second and think about it...Which element do you think applies to each house? As most of us know, there are 4 to 5 elements, however for this topic, we are going to stick to the main four: Earth, Air, Water, and Fire.

Spirit was the fifth element I was referring to, but leaving that out. Or we can actually apply it to the lesser known house of Sparklypoo which resides here.

Which element do you think belongs to each house? I want to hear your answers and I want to know why you think that! I have my own opinions and I will voice them after more people have voiced theirs.

    Tell me!
