  2. I am obsessed with ancient times such as the Egyptians, Mesopotamians, Babylonians. I would most definitely want to see how the Egyptian wizards and people built these magnificent structures, protected them, used the energy, how they did rituals and the remedies they used. I would love to really take time to learn the languages. They say you learn a language faster from a native speaker of said language.  I would take the time to really see and learn the absolutely amazing artisan skills they have honed for so long in their various crafts. For the most part, there are many tales of the magic and rituals they performed. Minus the sacrifices, but the way they lifted nature up and embodied the magic and energy around them. I would love to be able to learn this.

  3. I should have enough for these (let me know if I'm mistaken):

    37. The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare

    63. The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper

    88. Why I Didn’t Die When the Augrey Cried by Gulliver Pokeby

    Thanks

  4. This was hard since I rarely think a book needs something to be different since I myself am not the author and creator of the story. But having that said and having to participate, I sat really long and hard, thinking about this. Going into the books and stories in my mind with extreme detail. I really don’t see anything to change. To me, a story created by an Author is as perfect as it was imagined by the author. They know their character, the world and what happens ultimately in them. With that said, again, I am not talking down on anyone's opinion of things to change in a book and story. On the contrary, there are many amazing fan versions of stories written very well and some very interesting changes were mentioned by everyone. I unfortunately don’t have a change to add other than something like wanting more details on things in the universe of the books and stories itself.

  5. Dish is Jalebi Sweet treat which I think will compliment the Gillyweed Harry needed to take in for the Triwizard tournament in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. And one of my favourite Sweet Treats.

    1. Start by toasting a 1/8 tsp saffron in a pan until fragrant.

    2. For the syrup place 3/4 cup water and 3/4 cup granulated sugar in a pot. Allow it to simmer on a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Simmer until it reaches a one thread consistency. It will reduce to about half the amount.

    3. Add the 1/4 tsp ground elachie/cardamom (food colouring) and 1 teaspoon egg yellow (food colouring), saffron and 1 tsp lemon juice to the syrup. (You can use different colours especially if you want it the colour of Gillyweed.

    4. To test one thread consistency, take a little syrup and allow it to cool a little or you will burn. Place it between your forefinger and thumb and press and release, it will form one thread. If your syrup becomes too thick you can add a little more water to fix it.

    5. For the Jalebi place the 1/2 cup cake wheat flour/all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda and 1 tablespoon corn flour in a bowl and mix it together.

    6. Make a well in the center and add 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt.

    7. Add 1/4 cup water (normal tap water), a little at a time (use only what's required) and whisk until your form a smooth batter. Must be a little thick, but free flowing. Whisk for at least 2-3 minutes.

Please do not add all of the water, the batter may become too thin. If it does become thin you can add a couple tablespoons of flour to thicken it. I used about 2 tablespoons short of a half cup of water.

    8. Heat some vegetable oil or ghee on low heat in a flat pan. It is easier to work with a flat pan when piping the jalebi

    9. Pour the batter into a piping bag or a squeeze bottle. Squeeze the batter into the oil in a circular motion to get a spiral shape. Fry about 3-4 at a time depending on the size of your pan

    10. Fry each side for at least one minute, on a low heat or the insides won't cook. Jalebi to drain for a few seconds on a cooling rack. Dip in warm syrup, remove and drain on a cooling rack.

Serve Jalebi warm or allow to completely cool before storing in an airtight container. Jalebi is best made and eaten the same day.

  6. I don't usually like something playing in the background when I read, but if I have to choose something then it cannot distract me so much so that I would like to sing and dance along, since I love music. It is going to need to be something without words like instrumental or pure vocal.

    1. "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven: I love this specific  piece and always go back to it. It was really truly only introduced to me by one of my favourite animes, The Eminence in shadow.

    2. Instrumental Flute & Violin, "Secrets of the Forest" Tim Janis - just something calming with a flute is to me so absolutely beautiful. You get playlists that play these live non stop.

    3. I love to listen to 2Cellos concerts and music, no just one specific song. A cello is a beautiful instrument and I just love it.

    4. Again no specific song to mention but anything with a piano is so absolutely beautiful and to me.. I would just stream no ending piano classic and new mixes.

    5. Again no specific song to name but music that is pure vocals and emotion coming from spirit such as some of the Nordic and Celtic songs people sing. Absolutely gives me goosebumps and lifts my mood instantly.

  7. How exciting.

Well I do love my educational books on all plants, animals and magical things. I will probably take a few of those. Anything that can teach me new skills and help me gain more knowledge.

I MUST collect at least five quills. I love quills and would like a few varieties to practice my calligraphy. They are so beautiful and each vary to the degree of feather they were made from.

Ink. About three different colours for my note making variations. A black ink with a nice blue and perhaps even red to make a nice colour pop.

Parchment. I would like to get a few loose sheets and a few longer rolled up pieces to make my notes with.

Notebooks of course. A nice variety to do my planning, notes and practice work on. Perhaps even a sketch book to accompany them for those artistic days.
