  1. I think things such as rooms with historical artefacts in would really be a great attraction including a “night” tour of one of the haunted cemeteries in order to really give the experience. It should attract many people wanting to be a part of it. To have some festivals or carnival markets is always a great attraction and can help promote local businesses to get stalls to sell and advertise their goods. Workshops are always a fun pastime to learn new things such as spells, potions, care for smaller domestic creatures, wizard wear making, magical cooking, reading and more. Having more attendances would help get more safety and promote even more ideas for events.

  2. St Jerome's graveyard is a well known landmark that can be found within Godric’s Hollow. It can be found next to the St Jerome's Church. It houses the final resting places of many of the village’s former Wizard and muggle residents. There is no set record specifying when exactly the graveyard was founded. Rumer has it that the Graveyard itself is extremely haunted. The Famous Ignotus Peverell, the youngest of the three brothers from The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The known to be wisest and most humble that passed his cloak of invisibility to the Potter family. It is known to be the final burial of people such as James and Lily Potter, Kendra and Ariana Dumbledore, and a member of the Abbott family.

Interactive hand made flower table top arrangements made with ferns and flowers in complimentary shades of beige, orange, reds and whites interlaced with thin modern wooden frames sprayed to look golden. The arrangement is meant to look beautifully wild, as if one went to pick from the fields just outside but still elegant enough to fit and compliment any other decor added to the table. I chose these as they are really soft, wild and beautiful and can be added to any other decor. It also brings a nice nature feel to the table.

  5. 1. The market and festival-like area with treats, games and entertainment - Tables and stalls filled with treats, things to buy and with fun conversations and games around. With themed décor and lights and dancing areas
    2. Musical show - Having a set musical band or show to entertain the guests during and after the feasts, games and fun.
    3. Tour - A tour of the history and feats of the town and heroes with entertainment pretend play or acting.
    4. Wooden sword fighting competition - a fun and safe way for all to try their hand at sword fighting with practice and prizes available.
    5. Magical Fireworks display - Using magic to make intricate and grand fireworks light up the sky as a final part of the festivities.

  6. I love the idea of not only taking a train to Hogwarts but also the hidden platform in itself. I think it could be better hidden as it would be strange for people to just run at a wall. It would draw my attention if people started running at the walls. That and preventing leaning against it. It is entirely possible that people either haven't noticed or that it had been taken care of with memory charms as the Wizarding community do have many departments whose jobs it is to make sure the magical world is hidden from muggles. They have even gone as far as working with a limiting number of muggles that know about the world. It would be especially important with the advancement of technology.

I would however make sure there is a security person and that the entering of the trains on either side of the platform entrance would be on the opposite sides of the trains themselves so people don’t step foot on  that side other than being allowed by the security. I would mark the platform as authorized personnel only and when people question school children and families entering the area as it being a gathering point for a school trip or something.

I do think it a great idea that J.K Rowling chose the train as it gives students the time to calm down after all the excitement and make friends, catch up or just have a beautiful calming view as they head towards Hogwarts. I know she chose it due to nostalgia and something about her parents meeting. Cannot remember now but all in all I love the idea.

  7. My first stop in this, as I am sure, very busy street would be to get all my school supplies and equipment that I need or need to top up on. Once I have placed those in a good and nice safe space out of my way, I would go exploring, knowing I have time. I would love to stop at any number of books stores, especially the secondhand bookstore as there are always gems to be found. I would stop at my favourite tea shop to get a few items I can enjoy back at the dorm. I absolutely must stop by any number of pet stores as I love to just see and pet the pets available. I would stop at the ZA coffee shop to get a nice cup of something yummy and get myself an Ice cream at the Ice cream parlour. Any number of places would do well for a bite to eat when hungry. I would like to go down Knockturn Alley out of curiosity but would never dare to go alone.

  8. I would most likely see what works and either try and get on first in order to get a nice quiet place with a door where I can draw or read. If that is a problem then I would wait to go on last and take whichever space is not occupied and nice and quiet since everyone would have settled in by picking seats. If the treats trolley comes by I would likely also “take the lot” as Harry did for a number of reasons. I love to try new yummies, I love snacks and I would have a nice collection of sweets and snacks to take with me to my dorm that I can have at hand when I feel like a sweet in the evenings. I tend to not be a big spender and tend to save up for when I do want to spend on something. Taking a nice selection for a more long term approach seems like a nice idea to me. I would most likely get off the train last as I don’t like being in a hurry or in anyone's way.
