Being an only child, I enjoyed every chance I had to play games with kids at school. It is hard to pick favorite games but I think I can narrow them down a bit. When we would play outside, one of my favorite games was 4 square where we all lined up and 4 people entered into a square and tried to get knock people out by bouncing the ball in a square and then getting it out of bounds before the player in the square could hit it. It was like a weird version of tennis, dodgeball and volleyball. When it came to board games, my favorite was always Monopoly though I am a sore loser and often lost when we played. My favorite card game was spoons where you tried to get four of kind then grab a spoon. The last person not able to get a spoon got a letter. It was a lot of fun because you had to put in a bit of strategy, have good reflexes, and it was hilarious watching people try to get spoons especially when they ended up getting knocked off the table and people had to chase them.
Since I had no one to play with at home, I spent a lot of time playing video games. When I was younger, I remember playing the original Mario Brothers where there was duck hunting game. I wasn't very good at it so I, of course, cheated and would stand in front of the TV and shot from there. Since no one played against me, no one complained. My dad also played video games so I used to borrow some of his and one of my favorites that I remember was this game for Sega called Altered Beast. Finally, I remember playing Zombies Ate my Neighbors with one of my neighbors growing up and I still enjoy playing it today. I could go on and on about video games but I don't want to bore anyone so I will stop here.
To sum up, I enjoy playing all sorts of games though I am very competitive and have been known to throw controls across the room so most people avoid being in a room with me and those brave enough to watch or play a game with me make sure to keep their distance just in case.
