  1. I give you, the Fake Mask!

This sheet mask for your face is without smell, has good texture, and no side effects on your face. The face gives the people you interact with the illusion perfect for the situation you are in. You can activate one by applying the mask on your face and activating the mode of the mask, as follows:

    1) class mode - the mask gives the attentive face mode - widely open eyes, nodding every 30 seconds. You can rest your sleepy eyes from some minutes in class with the use of this mask;

    2) 1v1 mode - the mask mirrors the face of your companion or how one is expected to act in accordance with the situation - laughing, smile every now and then for jolly conversations and empathic face for sad conversations. Masks with additional tears can be purchased at a higher price. You can rest your face as needed in these highly demanding situations.

I know all of us would want or need this mask sometimes. More modes are in the works.

  2. We were in Ollivander's that time, just revisiting the place, remembering what it smells and looks like. We saw a wand, but we knew from the start that it is a fake one. But curiosity is a deadly trait. We need to find out what it does. I gave it a wave and the embarrassing moment happened next. A loud voice came from the wand, saying "Gregorovitch's is better!" five times. I scanned the room. Good thing there is no one in our lane and I think the owner is in the back. I immediately dropped the wand, silently giggled with my companions, and silently walked to the door, and ran as soon as we reached the outside. That was a good adventure back then. Fake wands are fun; dangerous but fun!

  3. May I present to you the latest to be added to the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes collection, the Tears of Joy (and Drama) candy. This candy, when digested, turns on your "best acting" hormones for the production of tears. This creates a flexible, wide-array of possibilities that you can utilize in your class absence ambitions. Wanting to get a day of absence? You can act as being in extreme pain causing the tears flowing down from your eyes. The extreme sadness of whatever reason you may think of can get you out of tight situations. The effect of tears may last up to 30 minutes, enough time to let your feelings of sadness and frustrations and pain go, adding to the naturalness of the whole situation. By then, you are outside the classroom halls feeling dry in your eyes and happy for the rest of the day. Though side effects may include uncontrollable laughing and smiling at times, to counter the low emotions previously felt.

  4. The firework I have in mind is inspired by the Howler. Any audio can be incorporated to the fireworks. The color and the form of the firework can also be magically planned. For example, recreating the grand escape of Fred and George Weasley is a good tribute with the use of this firework. We can hear Umbridge's shouts and struggles. The fireworks take the form of Umbridge's head glowing red in frustration. We could also her Fred and George's laughs on the background audio as well as the whole school cheering for them. The fireworks then turn into a calming yellow with the Hogwarts castle as its form as it subsides into a graceful ending. A movie firework is good. It is also commonly used in Valentine's Day and in proposals, it seems. Those purposes are for the miniature versions of this firework, one that a small group of people or the two of you can only see.

  5. To go alongside the mischief and chaos, I dress inspired by the Addams family. Shiny black hair, black clothes (minimal white), and black shoes (white socks maybe). I picked the black clothes that weighed the least. I may need to run, crawl, or hop in the craziness. The highlight is my small black pouch attached to my belt. This pouch has been blessed by the Extension Charm for all things needed such as several Weasley's Wizard Wheezes products, some snacks, and the teacher in me made sure I bring a first aid kit, or something along that effect. We will see which of these shall serve their purpose at month's end.

  6. The Fat Lady,

Good thing you are safe, and back! I am not much of a help. I was so close, stuck in brainstorming session with Sir Nick. But still, you're here and that's what matters. *nods*

Thank you for the fun activities and the rubies. *adds them in my collection* :)

  7. Blurb from the original author's notes:

It was freezing that night. I was in a well hidden niche, elevation higher than its surroundings, providing a perfect view of the tribe of trolls below. They move rather slowly and shows low level of intellect. They tend to act violently but surprisingly, show signs of caring for their children. Their focus on their offsprings tend to be the cause of partners having a big fight in the wee hours of the morning. They tend to sleep late at night and wake up late in the morning.

    About the Author:

The author is a witch and a magizoologist from Scandinavia. She was secretly following the lives of a tribe of trolls in the mountains of Northern Europe. She planned to publish a book after spending one year with the trolls. It was unfortunate that on her twelfth month, she had encountered Gilderoy Lockhart in a pub, had some drinks with him and chatted with him about her adventures with the trolls.

    Difference from Lockhart's version:

I think the original book would provide more behind-the-scenes information since she actually lived the said journey. Lockhart's version would focus more on the interaction and main observations of the trolls since that would be the topic of their discussion in the pub but the smaller details that would provide the complete picture of the whole adventure is probably missing from Lockhart's book.

  8. There are several characters in the story with acts of bravery. I will discuss Dobby, the house-elf. Dobby went all out of his way, for the reason to do what is right, and to prevent something that is not right. Will all the right intentions, he made friend of Harry and since then, saved him a lot of times, most especially in the Malfoy Manor incident. His act of disobedience is a biig no for his life as a house-elf, yet he still chose to do the right thing. The magnitude of the act that he's done is a big ripple to the story. Although there were many times that Harry wished for him not to help him due to unfortunate events happening to Harry every time Dobby helped him, he still stayed with him until the end, where he ultimately died for Harry and the bigger cause. He surely did not die in vain and became one of the most loved characters in the story, which he surely deserved.

  9. I think Poppy Pomfrey deserves to be in this thread. It takes a lot of patience and love to be a nurse in an institution with thousands of occupants. Sometimes, her work is a given that she is neglected and unappreciated over and over. It was like she was just there that that her being there is nothing to worry about. She showed warmth and kindness but her being strict is sometimes misunderstood. She is brave, too, considering her efforts to help in the Battle of Hogwarts, both in the scenes of battle and treating the wounded. The hospital wing is an important setting in the story so it is befitting to honor those in-charge in it.

  10. Knocking off a lady's hat: Carpe Retractum or the Seize and Pull Charm can be used. It produces a supernatural rope from the caster's wand which  will pull a target toward  the caster. The caster should be careful though to target the hat, only the hat, so that it can be knocked off from a lady.

Making a horse fly: Depulso or the Banishing Charm can also be used. It makes the target fly toward a specific direction.

Swapping a sword for a parasol: The Gemino Curse (Geminio) can be used. It conjures a duplicate of a target object. Hopefully, there's a parasol in the area that the witch can duplicate.

Conjuring a glass of water: A summoning charm can be used. Hopefully, there is already a glass of water in the nearby area to be summoned.

Changing the appearance of a nearby tree: Draconifors can be used, transforming the tree to a dragon. The caster though should be very careful and fast in transforming back the dragon to a tree, unless a dragon throwing fire on the town is a good idea for the caster.

  11. A man, wanting for some positive change in his life, was walking down the road when he saw a black, pointed hat. He picked it up, removed some dirt, and tried it on his head. He thought he looked cool and proceeded to his home. He passed on a store, the temptation of robbing it building up inside. He heard a voice, reminding him of the bad consequences robbing awaits him. "You would not want to do it," the voice said. He dismissed his bad thoughts, thanking the voice or his conscience, as what he calls it from then on.

  12. Set 3

A princess from the future felt trapped in times past and was craving for some french fries. She grabbed her quill, and with sparks of light coming from her grand candle, wrote a decree, ordering a certain man to cut some branches from a leafless tree with a small knife, and put them inside a pail container. After all, one similar appearance to that of a french fries and one swish of a wand could bring her her most coveted fries. With some amount fair of wit and work, she earned her desired meal that day.
