  1. Hello everyone!

This is the crest of the Tilley's.

We are from Germany.  The German tree is the mighty Oak that stands tall and proud through all seasons.  The middle of the tree contains the Star Sapphire also known as the Siegstein Stone to the Germans.  The Siegstein Stone is the symbol of victory.  Finally, our motto is  Aus Schaden wird man klug meaning adversity is the mother of wisdom.

The Tilley's are a proud family that prides themselves on the ability to overcome adversity no matter the circumstances or how bad things become. :)

  2. From Image set number 2:

Once there was a sweet little house elf named Minky who was waiting for her tasty stew to finish cooking in her cauldron.  Minky decided to go out for a quick walk.  Minky started walking along the dirt trial by her house when she saw the most beautiful rose.  Minky had to stop and smell the beautiful rose.  The aroma was heavenly.  Minky continued walking down the dirt trial when it suddenly started to pour down rain.  Minky ran under the nearest tree.  Minky sighed as she thought about her stew and hoped that it wasn't burning.  "Oh, if I only had an umbrella", Minky said as she stomped her little foot on the ground.  Minky looked up at the sky and saw a flock of birds passing by.  One of the birds saw Minky and flew down to her.  "Do you need some help?", asked the bird to little Minky.  Minky's face lit up and she said "Yes! Please!".  Minky told the little bird about her stew, her walk, and then the unexpected rain.  "I can fly you hom.", said the bird and Minky smiled and said "Thank you!".  Minky got onto the bird's back and he flew them both home.  "Would you like to stay for dinner?", Minky asked the bird who gladly accepted.  Minky and the bird had a lovely time talking and eat the delicious stew that didn't end up burning.

  3. I have actually never read the Tales of the Beetle the Bard even though I bought a copy when it was first published.

I am excited to see how it compares to other stories and bed time tales.  I expect to be very surprised and happy once I have finished The Tales of Beetle the Bard.
