Have you been inspired to submit to the Paw Print? Well, we’d love to hear from you! Absolutely anyone from HOL (no matter their house or position) is welcome to contribute to the paper.
A new issue is released every 2 months during the school year. Details of the current theme, submission deadline and prompts for Prose and Cons can be found in the ‘Quivering Quill’ forum on the Gryffindor Common Room. You’ll also find a guide on the expected word-counts for each type of submission and a break-down of the house points that are up for grabs.
We’re interested in articles, opinion pieces, features (such as reviews and recipes), puzzles, graphics and really anything else you’d like to submit, providing it fits HOL’s guidelines. We do ask that you get your ideas approved by an editor by posting in the submission thread for the current issue. This is simply so we can make sure we don’t have too many of one thing. If you’d like to try your hand at Prose and Cons, there’s no need to get that approved – just get writing and send it in.
