Because this month is focusing on our improvement, I wanted to share a recipe which is healthy and requires no sugar!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup shortening
- 3 tbs cocoa
- 2 eggs
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
- Blend shortening and cocoa
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix together.
- Pour into a greased 9×9 pan
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
