Prof. Amy Lupin 9 Posted January 15 Nimbus Enterprises is a space shipping conglomerate, looking to expand. This is where you come in. You'll be forming a sub-company and will be expected to be hands on in overseeing the responsibilities of the different roles involved in managing your newest space ship. This activity takes place over 6 weeks. Each week will focus on a 3 roles (eg. CEO, mechanic) and related tasks. The tasks will be creative, typically writing, but some will give the option to submit a graphic. Completing a task will earn you 10 rubies and also add 500 to your company rating. You'll have the opportunity to earn up to a maximum of 180 rubies. There will also be a designated job board. Every Saturday, new jobs will get posted. The names of three planets will be listed along with which resource needs to be shipped there. You’ll need to choose one of these and post your choice in the thread. The priority of each shipment is hidden information and will only be revealed when the next round of shipments get posted. You’ll have a chance to boost your company rating as follows: High priority: + 100 Medium priority +50 Low priority: +30 At the end of the activity the people/sub-companies with the top 3 company rating s will earn beans as follows: 1st: 300 beans 2nd: 200 beans 3rd: 100 beans Please note: any rubies earned will only count for the Spring Term, not the Autumn Term.
