The Bard's Song

Recommended Posts

Knight readies his sword and shield,
he (surprisingly) has no problem on the field,
with three blows or four,
he defeats his foe and rides towards the shore.

From the beach trouble arises

But, of course (we emphasize this)

this is no problem for the knight

who can banish it without fright!

She approaches trouble with a smile

And motions with her shield

Nudges her stead into combat range

And the trouble, it does yield.

After trouble sees its defeat,

the knight rides to the next town

where its resources have been deplete,

why they even took the queen's crown.

A queen without her crown is full of gloom,

and could possibly spell the kingdom's doom.

I'm glad I can serve and make things right

Before I ride off into the night.
