[03:02:42 pm] [Jess|Away] The first and main rule is to turn off your colors. If you want to live to see 2007, I suggest typing in "/remote off" without the quotes to turn off those colors of yours. :)
[03:03:15 pm] [Jess|Away] The second rule is longer but still easy to follow. If you have a comment, type ! and wait to be called on by one of the ops. Then you can say your comment. Please be typing your comment as you are waiting though so we don't have to wait hours for you to type your comment. The same thing goes for questions except instead of typing ! you type ?. If you want to withdraw your comment or question before you say it,

[03:10:46 pm] [Echizen] It's already been a busy quidditch season this year, and the lovely GQT has been flying high the entire time. With two games already played, GQT is well on its way to earning another quidditch cup. It's been two years since the GQT brought the cup back to Gryffindor and it's just about time for that to happen again!
[03:10:55 pm] [Echizen] The first game was played against Slytherin and it was a high-scoring, fast-flying match. The sale from the snake skin boots at the after-party will be keeping the GQT knee deep in butterbeer for months to come! Jenny Lupin, caught the snitch in just over 40 minutes and took an MVP award in her first ever quidditch make. The final score to that match was 230 to 60, with Gryffindor winning.
[03:11:06 pm] [Echizen] The second game took place on December 2nd again Hufflepuff, and it was a nail biter of a game! GQT did amazing and the victory party with the Badger Burgers afterwards was rocking! GQT took home an amazing 130 to 60 victory, giving us a record of 2-0. MVP for this game was Kadina Tigano, who also was playing in her first quidditch game! That makes a total of 360 points that GQT has brought in for the house in the last month.
[03:11:17 pm] [Echizen] I bet you really want to watch your GQT play, don't you? Yes, see I knew it. The next GQT game will be January 13th at 9 pm HOL time/4 pm EST in the irc channel #quidditch for live action and #grandstand for cheering. We certainly hope to see you there!

[03:12:56 pm] [Echizen] So once you've done your reading, hop over the the Common Room and tell the staff of the Paw Print just how much you enjoyed reading it! We always love to hear what the students thought and which sections they enjoyed the most.
[03:13:05 pm] [Echizen] The next issue is due to be released between December 26th and December 31st. It should definitely be worth reading! While it's not a special holiday issue, it should still be filled with many great stories and of course, excellent entries for the Prose and Cons challenge.

In the end, it was decided that two very special people would get awards. A big round of applause to Professor Hatshepsut Nahyan for being awarded the Nimbus 2001 Award and Mark Mandrake for the Friend of the Den Award. Congrats! \o/
