Hi, I'm Hailey (pronounced Hal-ee, not Hail-ee). I also go by Hal, especially on IRC.
I'm twenty-two and I've been here at HOL for a very long time. Like, almost half of my life.
I am Gryffindor's Prefect in Charge, (which means the prefects and JPs are my minions
) and HOL's newest Head Girl.
I love the staff here and I love working with them! We have some of the best people here in Gryffindor! They're absolutely fabulous.
I'm also Spice Squad Captain, and Assistant Head of the Gryffindor Library Book Club, and a Lion's Pride committee member, and a Paw Print writer and head editor. Basically I do a lot for Gryff. But that's because I love all of you so so much! Everything I do is for Gryff. <3 (Hugs for everyone!)
I'm in my last year of college outside of HOL, so I'm a very busy girl. I am graduating in May with a degree in elementary education and am currently student teaching! I am a very creative soul; if I'm not at work, school, sleeping, doing HOL stuff, or studying my tail off, (according to Chad I "outnerd the Ravenclaws". Others have begun comparing me to Hermione Granger...) I am watching shows or reading books that farther stimulate my imagination, reading fashion magazines and shopping to farther accent my style, listening to music, practicing music, writing music, or writing my own stories, whether fanfic or my own. Hailey is actually based off of my very first fanfic- where I wrote myself into the Harry Potter story as Harry Potter's long lost twin. I was 10 when I wrote it, give me a break!
However, I am still here because I still have a love for HP, and HOL is a great (and safe AND friendly! which is so hard to come by these days) place online to meet people from all around the world. The forums have gotten bare compared to what they were at the height of HOL when the books were still being released every couple of years, but that's okay, because I've made some wonderful friends here, and that's totally worth it! I truly feel like I belong and fit in here on HOL, especially Gryff.
If you need help with anything Gryff of HOL related or want anyone to discuss anything with, including any problems or issues you're having or come up, that's what I'm here for- just send me a PM or ping me on IRC! We'll talk about it and figure something out together.
